I know the audio forum is pretty dead, and I searched a bit.
I have an Alpine CDE143 headunit currently powering stock door speakers. I have some Alpine Components for the front, and 2ways for the rear doors, I recently picked up a factory 4x50w amp to give a bit of extra punch.
I had previously wired one of the Alpines up to my previous JVC headunit but the headunit didn't have enough power to properly drive the speaker. Do you guys think the 4x50 factory amp will have enough power to properly drive the Alpine speakers? I don't need mega power, but without the amp it wasn't even able to get as loud as the factory speakers.
I'm planning to install the factory amp and then run the alpine door speakers and I already have a 10" sub hooked up. Does anyone have experience with Aftermarket headunit, factory amp, aftermarket speaker setups that might be able to chime in on quality?
