Volvo/Japanese Crossbreed

Hello to all,

I have a Mitsubishi coupe with a 2.5 L twin turbo V6 (6a13tt) and was wondering if it would be possible to swap in a b5234t with M56h gearbox into it.

Here in Trinidad and Tobago they swap Japanese engines into Volvos. So why not the other way? Also the engine I presently have I have came in a grey import so parts not too plentiful but I've found Volvo parts alot more readily.

So my point is. Would the engine work up in a fwd Japanese layout?
