Hi everyone! I'm new to the volvospeed forums and this is my first thread. It may or may not be in the right location, but hopefully you guys can help me out with that and with my volvo :/
So to tell you a bit about my experience with volvos, I had a 1996 850 GLT for a little under a year that burned a lot of oil. Of course, I may not have been as diligent as I should have been with topping up the oil. It started with a bad tick, and in a few hours there was a fire truck infront of my house putting out the engine fire. I found some of my main bearing on the ground afterwords. This car turned me into a bit of a volvo fanatic. I would browse IPD and the internet dreaming of what I could do to my car.
Anyways, while shopping for cars online I found this modified 1997 850R Platinum Edition. It looked like it was too good to be true, but now it's in my garage 
I don't regret buying the car, even if I only got to drive it for a few weeks. Hopefully, with your help, I'll be able to fix this problem and restore this beast to it's former glory!

It's pushing out 275 whp at 13 psi, all the way up to 384 whp at 22 psi. I've attached a picture of the most recent dyno sheet, with run 2 being stage 1 (Turbo Tuner) - 13 psi, run 3 16 psi (stage 2), run 4 19 psi (stage 3), and run 5 22 psi (stage 4)
So a few weeks ago I was driving along, ~4300 RPM, stage 2, and all of a sudden the engine "hesitates." It feels as though I've hit a rev limiter. So I drove it home keeping it under 2000 RPM and noticed a familiar tick while stopped at a light - the tick that transformed into a totalled car when I kept driving it with my last car. Anyways, here's a video of the tick that I just took. The car has been in the garage, with the battery disconnected, under a car cover for a few weeks. I'd like to take it apart to see what's wrong with it, and I'm hoping you guys can get me started and help me out!
