As you people know I sold my T5r ."build next one"
In the mid time I put together 1984 242 . That is now 16v , k24 , mustang T5 tranny , etc. Great car , so much fun
But I couldn't stay away from 850's 
So I picked up $700 850R from Brooklyn. Guy was telling me that It need headgasket . I was ready for the worst , I didn't even test drove the car.
And then after driving it home 20 miles away . Car had plenty of power no misfires and interior smelled like coolant.
Mechanical parts failed.
Heater core was shot , and both cam seal from tranny side were pushed out , That would explain all the oil and coolant consumption . Suspension is in great shape . Car overall isn't in very bad shape . City cars are usually beat to death

After cleaning it up .
I serviced the engine new seals belts, heater core , k24 out of s60r , exhaust from 2000 c70 .
Car is still automatic and it will run blue injectors with blue tune from ARD .
If tranny goes it will become manual . Also I will install nice big oil cooler for tranny
Car will run 18's oddyseus Out of s80
And this is where work really started !!! 
By the end of this week I should have bed and external sexy looking roll cage mounted .
Yesss I am building a 850R pick up
