When I bought the 95 850 last month it was running 18-18psi, the boost has been getting worse and now I'm only able to get 12-14 in 3rd, 10 in first and second. This is a billet 19t with an Ard blue tune, ard tcv, 5spd. I have been over all the vacuum lines, they are all fairly new and found one small leak where a hose clamp was loose, didn't Change how it ran. The vacuum is reading normal on the boost guage as well. Next I suspected the cbv leaking, I installed a turbosmart bov and block off plate (needed anyway for future 20g) but no change. I replaced all the intercooler hoses with silicone today and noticed no change in boost. I swapped the ard tcv with an oem out of my other 850 and can't tell a difference either. If I unhook the wastegate line it will build 20psi fast...
the only thing I can think now is both tcv's are bad but the oem seems to work well on my stock 850. Or the wastegate but it holds with the line undone, can it be the wastegate spring is too weak to close the flapper after opening? Hoping someone has run into a similar problem or has some advice. It still runs great but not nearly as quick as it was.
