Been watching everyone on VolvoSpeed build some really awesome cars, so thought its time for me to share.The amount of effort and knowledge on this site is truly amazing, you guys have already done my "homework" for me, so I'm just looking over your shoulders and copying.
By sharing what I'm doing, I hope it will also light a fire under me to get this thing together.
Goal of this build is to have mild power gain with reliability for long track days and back road fun.
Back story:
Had a lightly tuned 1999 V70 T5M as a daily driver. Seriously pristine,loved this car, until a guy decided to ram is POS unregistered, no insurance poopbox into the back of it in stop and go traffic. Meanwhile sitting at home I had a 1996 855 R I was doing a mild restoration, which I was just planning on selling once I finished up.
With the '99 V70 frame done in, I bought the car back from the insurance company and started parting it out. Engine and trans are now going onto the 855 R and I bought as Scion iQ (best car ever) for work/daily driver.
Parts that have been acquired for the build:
4.4 ECU , already modded and installed for testing.

Set of gauges to monitor engine health
Turbosmart Eboost Street
Wilwood BBK
Koni/H&R
IPD "Track" (whatever that means) front and rear sways.
Needed:
Bosch Greens (or 550cc ?)
Larger FMIC
Possible water/meth injection?
Fender rolling.
235/40 45 R17 track tires.
So at this time I'm going to stay out of the engine internals and keep the boost low (16 -18psi) . I have a bunch of parts laying around, 1 half torn apart engine bay on the V70 and the 855 R is still a runner.
Family and business is where most of time is at now, but hopefully this build wont take too long.
