Hey guys!
So I am going to be installing a manual boost controller in my car here pretty soon and I have a couple questions.
First, I have heard that it is recommended to place the controller as close to the turbo as possible, is this as important as it sounds because I'd like to mount in a spot where it can be adjusted or even be unplugged and switched to the stock TCV if need be.
Second question, should I adjust the waste gate setting as well? Stock the GLT is at 1.5 psi and mine is set to about 3 psi right now, should I leave that there, or increase/decrease that setting?
And last question, I was planning on running 10 pounds of boost, I have read that is within safe operating limits and is a few PSI before damage begins to occur. Is that true or should I set the controller higher/lower?
Thanks so much guys!!
