So, yesterday was an extremely infuriating day. I got my factory turbo stripped off and went to install the "t04e" I bought only to find that it won't fit at all. The nut on the trans mount is hitting the housing even after shaving off some of the mount. With the t3 flange hanging by the top two studs, there is a gap of about 3/8'' between the manifold and the bottom edge of the flange. I had to bolt the factory turbo back up which has easily triple the limits of shaft end play(gauged with a depth caliper) to get the car back driveable. Can anyone offer some helpful input?
