Couple Quick Questions Regarding O2 Sensors, Rear O2 Delete, Etc.

So, on my 96 855R, my front O2 sensor is kicking the bucket.  Loooooong term goals for this car is 350WHP and short term goal is 270-300WHP, so I've been slowly getting everything better than stage 0.  Anyway, I want to do OBX exhaust, with a wideband in the rear spot.  I'm planning on doing an ARD green, with the rear O2 delete.  I'm also gathering manual swap parts.  So, here are the questions...

 

Are the rear and front O2 sensors the same?  If I ride around with no rear O2 sensor, will I just have a CEL or will the car try to adjust? 

 

Basically, I want to buy the wideband and the OBX exhaust.  I want to put the rear O2 sensor in the front (I might just say F it and buy a new O2 sensor), and the wideband in the rear.  I then want to roll around like this for half a year, until I do my manual swap.  When I do my manual swap, I also want to buy an ARD green with rear O2 delete.

 

This would save me from having to retune after the manual swap.  Is there anything wrong with doing it this way?
