Obx Down Pipe + Correct V Band ?

I searched around and read (more than a few times) that an OBX v band clamp and flange kit were the correct match to the the welded on v band flange of an OBX down pipe.

So, I ordered a 3" OBX V band flange kit from sparktec .... as it turns out, the inner sealing lip from the flange kit is about 0.5mm larger in diameter than the down pipe flange ID, and the OD of the flange from the flange kit is about 1.5mm larger in diameter than the down pipe flange.

So................ what do I need?

I'm starting to feel like my only option is to try to modify what I have.
