I have a 1997 GLT which means a turbo with no turbo gauge. I imagine until I do my planned upgrades maybe the boost is low enough that the number-less gauge will seem pointless? However I'm sure it will still show that boost is being made.
What I'm getting around to here is.... can I pull a T5 cluster and swap the ODO section over so I can retain mileage accuracy? Or do these ones not come apart like the 2 series with their simple circles....
I was going to buy a nice single pod mount and iPd gauge and place it where the mirror triangle goes.... but wow is that an expensive route. I figure in the meantime I could just grab a T5 cluster for 25~30 bucks instead.
I also think it would be nice to have a turbo car that reps itself better by having that little gauge there. Just one of those odd personal wants.
