Trying to determine what the feasibility of using 6 piston calipers and 350mm rotors in place of the 911/928GTS 4 pots (928-351-423-03
928-351-424-03)
I know Homer made Cayenne calipers fit his 240 (with 330mm rotors), but those are axial mount - unsure if those can be made to fit an 870 spindle or not.
Using stock S60R 330x32mm rotor would be preferable, otherwise 17" wheels are out the window, I believe.
Difficult to search for, since I don't know which models precisely came with what.
So far, I've come up with two different sets of radial mount calipers:
996-351-431-91
996-351-432-91
and
996 351 431 31
996 351 432 31
One could assume that the mount spacing is the same as the 4 pots, but I have no idea if that is in fact the case.
Don't know if there are 350mm rotors used on any Volvo, either.
Then there is the question of the master cylinder.
