I'm having trouble figuring out which wires I should connect together on the automatic transmission connector I have read countless wiring forums and am still a bit confused as to which wires have to be connected together. I read from ARD Blogs that on the 99 models that they are very basic as far as wiring goes.
So my question is I see one wire (Green/Red) and 2 Green wires. But one is a smaller gauge than the other. Should I connect all 3 together? And if im correct this should be for the gear position sensor.
Also for the blue wires, one (Blue/Grey) and 2 blues again same thing one is a thicker gauge than the other one. This should be for the Reverse light. Do all 3 get connected or only 2?
Aaaaaand last but not least... I am having trouble finding my White and Green wires twisted together... The only wires I can find that have been twisted together were these which are (Yellow/White) and (Yellow/Brown) both clearly run from the TCU to the transmission connector. If anyone could please tell me If I am doing something wrong or point me in a right direction as to asking some I would be VERY great full. Thank you and sorry about the dirty nails This is on my 1999 Volvo S70 T5 with a M56H internal slave cylinder.
