I have driven my car 4500 miles now since soldering in the diode on my ECU harness and still haven't set several emissions readiness monitors. A few hundred miles after I soldered in the diode, my SAS emissions monitor passed according to my scanner but I also had CEL codes for a slow O2 sensor, catalytic inefficiency, and EVAP leak. I fixed the leak, replaced the front O2 sensor, and reset the CELs.
According to my scanner the Catalyst, EVAP, Secondary Air, Oxygen Mon, and Oxygen Htr monitors have still not cleared. I have attempted the documented readiness drive cycle procedure twice. Does anyone have any ideas if something might have gone amiss with my diode installation? What is a good way to test that my diode is working properly? Or does anyone have thoughts on my readiness situation? I'm two months overdue on my emissions and registration at this point.
