recently completed an RN swap to a 98 chasis. First time Ive removed and replaced a volvo engine. Over the last few weeks ive been hearing a clunk sound when turning right. I thought it could be my axle but today I found a broken motor mount on the drivers side (in behind the wheel). It needs to be replaced but my question is once i replace it when is the proper height to the rubber bushing? Is the motor supposed to sit on the rubber? Its currently a about 1/4 inch above the rubber so I am thinking the weight of the motor must have cracked it. Must not have set the height correctly. See pics below. The pic of the crack in motor mount might be very hard to see if you are not familiar with how it looks.
