I've just received my clutchnet fibre-carbon friction plate in the mail.
I have some mixed feelings about the linings they used.
Here's a picture of the front:
Looks pretty nice, I like the lining they used on this side.
Now for the back:
This side is what I dislike about this clutch. It has organic lining on this side.
In my opinion this totally negates any friction advantage you would have from the fibre carbon lining.
The clutch will just start to slip on this side instead of the other.
Also the higher resistance to heat the carbon side has, will be totally meaningless.
I'm not sure if this will handle the power I eventually want to put on this, and I'm not sure what to do now.
I'm writing an email to clutchnet to ask them about this, but I wanted to ask for your opinions aswell.
